Ian Palast bought his first home in 1988 while finishing his degree at the University of Iowa. That property became his first rental, and the next three decades took him through homes in California, Illinois, Iowa, Nevada, and Texas. Some he renovated, some he flipped, some he lived in. All of them taught him what a serious buyer or seller actually needs from a Realtor. In 2006 he went full-time on Las Vegas real estate. Today, Palast Realty Group at eXp Realty works with first-time buyers, veterans using VA loan benefits, families relocating into or out of the valley, investors hunting fixer-uppers, and renters mapping a 12-month path to ownership.
